Members shall be interested in the operation and/or the advancement of model aviation, expressing interest in the building or assembling of model aircraft, and participating in the flying and maintenance operations at KMAS flying facilities.
- All applicants for membership and those accepted into membership shall be bound by the By-Laws of the Society.

All persons requiring flying privileges must be members
of the Model Aeronautics Association of Canada (MAAC).
- A membership year shall be the period from November 1st to October 31st.

Persons can apply for membership into the Society through the Membership Coordinator. The joining procedure is sponsorship by two members, approval by the Executive Committee, and reporting the applicant's name to a general meeting.

All new members must receive, review and sign the Safety
and Field Orientation document, with a reviewer and have
a check flight by a designated KMAS instructor, before
solo flight is authorized.

The annual Society dues payable (commencing November 1, 2024 for 2025) are as follows:

the Junior/Student Fee and no Initiation Fee. |

Member with Airplane purchase -
purchase a Trainer airplane from Interior Crafts
and Hobbies (Kamloops), have them complete the
certificate (obtain from them or click
here) and receive an Open Membership
at no cost until October 31. After October 31,
new members shall be responsible for the one
time Club Initiation Fee and the Annual Open
Membership Fee. Note for New Members
only. |

New Family Members with Airplane purchase - purchase a Trainer airplane from Interior Crafts and Hobbies (Kamloops), have them complete the certificate (obtain from them or click here) and receive an Open Membership for each family member, at no cost until October 31. After October 31, all adult family members shall be responsible for the one time Club Initiation Fee and the Annual Open Membership Fee. welcome. Current MAAC Membership required to fly and
pay Daily Facility charge. This charge is for
non-event days such as our Spring Fun Fly, that
require a registration fee be paid. |

Aircraft System (RPAS) certificate and a membership
with MAAC in order to fly. |
